The Worst Time To List The Best Time To Buy

How many times have you come up empty handed ? That is a loaded question and anyone familiar with  buying or selling on ebay are certain to know the answer.

The trick is knowing when to bid on ebay to optimize your chances of winning . Forget about the time zones and other such strategies or an auction snipper system All you will end up doing is paying too much .

Ebay is internet based and as we know it is a form of entertainment. Just like television , going to the movies or shopping at the local mall is . How many times have you heard someone say " I just cannot take the people at the malls. "So if I need something I go during the week when there are not so many people". Bingo, If a little light went off then you  just hit the nail on the head. So use the same simple strategy for bidding on Ebay

One of the slowest times on ebay is when there is a major event going on such as Monday Night Football , The Super Bowl, (Ebay was dead then so where are sales) The NBA Playoff games, World Cup Action, or political events such as  the Presidents State of the Union Address or the Democtatic or Republican conventions . Something that is so newsworthy that almost everyone is focusing on it . For example Federal Income Tax time ends april 15th . The majority of people are concentrating on their taxes during the first  2 weeks of April. Sales on ebay are very slow so if you have a little extra cash the tax man is not grabbing then that is a good time to shop Ebay .

That means they are not focusing on Ebay and bidding . If a major political, sporting or big news event is unfolding then that is your time to jump in on ebay and grab whatever you want for a lot less because everyones focus is on something else of interest not Ebay

For Example Who is thinking of buying something for Christmas in June About 98 % of the population has not even thought about Thanksgiving let alone Christmas Shopping. Why not start Christmas Shopping in June or July and set the gifts aside for then .Or if someones birthday is coming up in 5 or 6 months, and you see that therer has been a 500 car pile up on the Santa Monica Free Way and the coast of California has just submurged by 10 feet  (Although an exageration ).  These are noteworthy news events that the masses will be watching.  So jump on Ebay and start bidding away You will be guaranteed to come out a winner. In a lot of cases at half the price you would have normally paid on $1 No reserve auctions
