Hello All.  Now don't think I'm being a know-it-all, but I wanted to help anyone out there that needs it with taking better photo's for your Ebay listings.  First and foremost, you must have, obviously, a decent digital camera.  Before I go any further, If you've always wanted to Ebay and just don't have the time or inclination, try an Ebay consignment store, like "iSOLDit.com", or any of those out there. That said, lets get back to YOU doing a listing.   Your photo's make or break the deal most of the time.  Try using Auctiva to work up your listings because you can put up to 24 photos on your listing and only pay the small 35 cent gallery fee.  Plus you get so many choices in backgrounds. And Auctiva is FREE to use and is endorsed by Ebay.. and FREE is GOOD.  So, you've decided to start Ebaying right?  Ok..step one, for me at least..get something nice for a background color to compliment your item. Like a light colored sheet or towel for example for a dark colored object, etc..you get the idea. I use a satin type piece of fabric for a lot of my listings.  Now, take that fabric (or whatever you're using for background) and either take it OUTSIDE, for natural light, or in a brightly lit room with as much natural light as possible. Be careful of florescent lighting as it can effect the colors of your item. Now it's time to photograph.  If your digital camera has a MACRO setting USE IT..get up close and personal..take as many shots as you can to get every angle. Best thing about digitals is you don't like it-erase it!..Now go put those on your computer and check them for clarity and color. Make adjustments where needed..crop out any background that distracts from your object.  Look for the very best shot for your Gallery picture.  If it's blurry, go back and take another shot..Blurry shots make your item look bad!  Don't put more than one shot of any given angle of the item..people get bored...BUT, if your item has a lot of detail, put multiple pictures in the listing to let them see it all. And by all means, whatever else you do..BE HONEST and PRECISE. Sell what you say you have and Ship carefully and thoughtfully.
