Do you use eBay's Page counters?
Have you tried to change to "Hidden Counters", so that only you can see the number of page views?
If you use eBay's Inventory Templates, you will find that although there should be an option to use hidden counters that only you can see, the option is usually not available.
This will affect any sellers who have templates using old style counters, before eBay stopped using Andale, and started using their own. At the same time, they introduced a "hidden counters" option, but it cannot be reached directly because there is no direct option for it.

To switch to hidden counters, you have to overcome one of the many bugs in eBay's systems.
First you need to:
Revise your item
then:
Edit pictures & details
Select:
No counter
Save Changes
then:
Edit pictures & details (again)
then:
Select:
Thanks for looking Hidden (Only you see page views)
then:
Save Changes (again)
You have now changed to hidden page count!
Wouldn't you think eBay's highly paid team of skilled programmers could have made it possible to achieve the same effect in one go, instead of forcing you to go all around the houses to achieve the same result.
The answer is that they probably could, but probably never noticed the flaw, and probably couldn't be bothered to fix it, because ntot enough people complained.
