The Air Jordan XX3 is one of the greatest shoes designed in the entire Air Jordan collection. This Guide was written to educate the masses to spot a Air Jordan XX3 and avoid them.

The most important thing to know is Jordan Brand is using Automotive Quality paint on the shoe's, giving the colors a real metallic look. the fakes have a solid flat base color...

second thing... some fakes have wrong colors... like the one below... notice the silver scribbles on the red of the toe box....

THE REAL ONES ARE NOT SILVER! BUT CLEAR!

Notice the Grey soles on this "very rare Jordan" as the seller put it or this Blue midsole on the other

WHEN THE REAL HAS A WHITE SOLE AND A SOFT METALLIC BABY BLUE MIDSOLE

other things I have noticed with fakes are wrong color laces, wrong leather used (i.e. pressed instead of pattened), abnormally damaged boxes, wrong color thumb print on the back of the tongue, no shoe forms pictured (the cardboard shoe from should be visible outside of the shoe, if the shoe was truly never taken out of the box or tried on the shoe forms should still be present)

when this color does come out the toe cap is patten leather

c'mon are you serious?

sole should be white, not gray

Toe cap and tongue should be patten leather, shoe laces should be white, red toe drag should have clear scribbles... not silver!

the jumpman and the 23 on the tongue should be Tan, not white

This should have helped, I gave several good examples of what to avoid, just remember that fakes are out even before the real ones release... a friend of mine just wasted $400 on the white XX3's they wore in the all-star game, becuase the ones he recieved were fakes!
