This is my first guide, and I would like to write it about something I know best, Selling and Buying Gaming Accounts. This guide will tell you about all of the things I know about selling and buying, however I will focus mainly on organisation.
Chapter One: Vero Members and the problems they can cause
Vero is an eBay 'thing' that 'protects' intellectual property. It is truly a pain in the butt. More about them can be found here. Basically, if an eBay member finds your ad, they will submit a claim to eBay, and your listing will be removed, no warning. This first removal serves as a warning. If you relist your ad and it is removed again, you will have to complete a Vero tutorial. Listing/Relisting a third time will result in a ban on your IP, this means you CANNOT open a new account. Frankly, eBay is a bad place to list Gaming Accounts, but one of the only places to get good publicity for your account. If you account DOES sell, the Vero members can pull your information, and still possibly ban your account. That can be very bad, and could cause some fraud problems.
Chapter Two: Grammar
Grammar... grammar... grammar... It makes your ad look good. It also makes it look like you know what you are talking about. I would rather buy from someone who used good grammar then someone who had a terrible, unreadable, and frankly, bad looking ad. It's a major 'turn-off' to bidders. Good grammar is an essential for all you do in life, especially buying and selling goods on eBay. To put it simply, if you don't use good grammar, people will not bid as high.
Chapter Three: Organistation
This is the heart of this guide. This is how to make your ad look nice. I'm not talking about adding fancy borders. Although they do look nice, having bad organisation of the details, can simply ruin whatever border you decide to put into the ad. Your ad should use all the tools you have available to you so that you can organise. Unfortuantly, I do not have the underline tool available to me, as the eBay Ad Editor does, but I will make do without. The main tool should use big letters, and should be bold and underlined. The subtitles should be slightly bigger and bold and underlined, and the subsubtitles should just be bold, with a normal size. Lists should be used where needed. I have presented a short example below. I made it look like a Star Wars Galaxies Ad, as that is what I am most familiar with. I included a disclamer, which I will explain after the ad. I do not have pictures, as this is a fake account, but if you are selling one, you should include some. Some things you should know if you don't play Star Wars Galaxies: Ahazi is a Server,
