Im never buying Bottled Water again!

Bottled water is just a product of great marketing, and actually doesn't help you.

The average bottled water drinker consumes atleast two bottles per day - usually 3-4-6 ....Thats a huge cost and one that most consumers have been bamboozled into buying.

Do you realize thats a yearly cost of $1400.00 - $2000.00 or more being spent on bottled water.

Get out a pen and paper and figure out the numbers for your family.

If you have saftey concerns or just buy bottled water for the convenience try these alternatives for the next year....you wont know the difference I promise !

In my family - We saved the last three cases of bottles after we drank the water, noone understood why and I must admitt I didnt have any plans for the water bottles myself at the time 3 years ago.

I washed them out.
Refastened the lids and stored them in an empty cabinet.

One day after figuring out how to cut our costs I decided to start refilling the bottles...Noone else knew.

I even went to the length of boiling the water for a year or more before refilling the bottles to kill any germs or substances that might be in our tap water.

Then I decided to have our tap water tested at the local water plant .... It was fine, nothing was wrong with it not that I assumed there would be a problem but I was also told by the employee of the water company that bottled water providers also have to steralize the water they sell, not to mention they add alot of other oddities before packaging the water.

Then I began just filling the bottles from the tap, I replaced the filled water bottles in the empty cabinet and my family assumed that I was just buying the water in bulk, I kept half a case or 12 bottles in the refrigerator for them to grab on the go .
Last year they discovered my trick and actually thought it was funny that I had fooled them but also saved them and myself a ton of money.

Once water sits in the bottles for 12-24 hours the chlorine and chemical smell from the tap evaporates.

They never knew the difference, but ohhhh how we loved the savings.

Total savings per year for my family of 7 averaging one bottle of water per day ...are you ready for this ?

$2500.00 - $3000.00 per year

This is another tip for those of you who drink something other than bottled water...

Make kool-Aid or iced tea even lemonade at home and fill empty water or coke bottles with it, keep it in the refrigerator .

On the go you will be more likely to grab a cold bottle and save that money along with that trip to the convenience store.

Let me know if this works for your family and how much money you saved.
