This is Part 2 in my Guide to safely buying authentic LOUIS VUITTON Multicolore pieces on eBay.  Yes, you can do it!  While there is a ton of yucky fake stuff on eBay, there is also an amazing amount of authentic, fabulous, and sometimes rare and collectable Multicolor as well!  I'm going to help you do it.  I am only allowed 10 pictures and so many words per guide, so I've had to break them up.  If you missed Part 1 to my Guide to buying Multicolore- go there first... If you are new to buying Louis Vuitton online- then first read my Top Ten Tips to Buying Authentic Louis Vuitton on eBay.  If you've read both... then keep reading!

Part 2:  More Buying Authentic Louis Vuitton Multicolore!

11.  Does it have "Louis Vuitton Paris Made in France" embossed in the lining inside?  (See picture below)  Yes?  No?

If yes, and it's a SPEEDY or ALMA... it is FAKE!  The MC Pochette DOES have this embossing inside. The picture above is the interior of a FAKE MC Speedy.

12.  If you're interested in a Speedy, look at the Key Clochette.  Is the embossing near the bottom of the bell?  Yes?  No?

If NO, it's fake!  An authentic Louis Vuitto key clochette, has the embossing very near the bottom- like the left picture above.  The right picture is a FAKE key clochette- and thus, a fake bag... notice how the embossing is almost in the center?

13.  Take a look a the side S Lock Closure (see pics below).  Do you see the hole where the key should go in?  Is it dark and deep- versus shallow and gold?  Does it have the slot below it?  Yes?  No?

If yes, it could be authentic.  The left picture above is an authentic MC Speedy.  The key hole should be fairly deep and dark with the gold prong in the center and a slot down below it.  MOST key holes on FAKE bags now have the slot below it... some earlier ones didn't.

Remember- do not buy from auctions with the following:

1.  One Day Auctions- just don't do it. 

2.  Seller's with PRIVATE feedback.  What are they hiding?

3.  NWT Vuitton with tissue on hardware... (LV never does that)

4.  NWT Vuitton with authenticity card... (LV does have those)

5.  Sellers selling fake, who have sold fake, who have negative FB for fake

If you remember to check for those 5 things above, you might not even have to check the bag itself!  Save yourself some worry and just move on!
