It is old and well known problem that old collectable full packets of cigarettes, especially soft packets get wrinkled within
age, but packing cello often cracks, to make it look bad...
Why is it so?
There is a bacillus who lives in tobacco and slowly eats it... These "guys" make the packet to wrinkle! Wrinkling of the packet may damage the cello when it is tightly packed.
Too wet, too dry, hot and sunny place storage also is harmful for packets.
What to do?
To "fight" the tobacco bacillus in the collector's packets, prior the storage, put the packets into refrigerator for temperature close
to 0 °C (alias 32 °F) for about 24 hours. For this bacillus it is mortal.
Also keep the cigarettes collection in cool, not too wet, not too dry place and protect from direct sun.
