What does it mean when an Ebay item has Make Best Offer?
Most Sellers do this to let the Buyer know that they are willing to accept less than the Buy it Now price.
Before you make your Best Offer:
Research the item in completed listings
Review what the average sold price is.
If the item cannot be found on completed listings. Search the internet for the average selling price.
Things to keep in mind:
1. Is it readily available?
2. What is the Sellers Feedback & Reputation?
3. Make sure you really want the item & are going to pay for it.
When making a Best Offer, it is always best to offer the most amount that you are willing to pay for an item.
The Seller does not have to accept your offer. If your offer is accepted, the item ends immediatly and you have won the item. Therefore, no other offers can be accepted.
It's best not to waste your time and the Sellers time by offering a small dollar amount for an item that is worth far more than what you have offered. For example, If the Seller has an Dior Handbag Listed at $725.00, Do you really thing that the Seller is going to accept a $100.00 offer?
It is best to make a fair Best Offer. A price that you and the Seller will agree on.
