)- Make a floating ghost. Get some white paper bags and tie a rubber band around the middle of each one. Hang in trees, bushes, etc.
- Make grave stones. Get some cardboard and cut it in the shape of a tombstone. Write R.I.P (Rest In Peace) on it or something similar.
- Make a paper pumpkin. Get some paper bags (small ones. Draw a pumpkin face on each one. Set them along side your walkway or deck steps and light candles to put in each bag.
- Hang paper bats from trees bushes. Make them look scary!
- Put spider webs on windows and bushes.
- Leave a witch's broom against a wall, porch etc.
- Hang spiders from trees, a porch etc.
- Make a Jack o' Lantern.
Tips:
- Be creative.
- Get some family and friends to help you.
- Have fun with it!
Warnings:
- If you make the tombstones, be careful when you cut the cardboard.
- Do not leave your candles unattended. (Can you say fire hazard?!)
- Make sure that the candles are secure inside the bags and that they won't fall over. Do not put them by anything that is flammable outside the bag. If the bag burns, it's okay, but if a tree catches on fire, you could have a problem on your hands.
- Keep children away from the candles if you can. They have a knack for being interested in shiny things...
- If the bags start to get too hot, blow the candles out!
- It may not be a good idea to have the pumpkin-candle-bag things to begin with if you will have a lot of reckless children and you are irresponsible.
- It may be good to have a fire extinguisher at the ready if you make the pumpkin-candle-bag things.

- scissors or a box cutter (if you are a child, get a parent or an adult friend to help you with this)
- markers/pencils
- paper bags (small for the pumpkin lights, small or big for the ghosts)
- candles
- fire extinguisher (strongly suggested, but optional)
