How to Heat Seal Hair bows? What is the Secret? How to Heat Seal Ribbon for Crafts & Hobbies? How do they do it?

Did you ever wonder how they heat seal a hair bow? Well it's really no secret, many people do it and have been for years. You can heat seal ribbon from freying on hairbows 3 different ways.

#1 A Woodburner tool that you can purchase at any craft or hobby store. These work great and heat up fast.

#2 The Candle Stick method-if you are really careful and can do it ok great. Not everyone is good at getting the ribbon past the candle in time before it burns.

#3 A regular lighter, such as a bic.

How to heat seal a ribbon, you simply cut the ribbon and take the edge over the flame or if you aren't real good at flames and keeping your hands steady. (As it takes two hands, one to hold the ribbon and one to hold the flame) Sometimes I prefer the woodburner as its' sometimes easier.
