This guide is for people interested in Wrestling Masks such as WWE  wrestlers Rey Misterio, Kane, Hurricane Helmsley. As well as Old school wrestlers like Mr Wrestling II, Assassin, The Spoiler, Also Lucha Libre wrestlers like La Parka, Dr Wagoner. Santos, and Blue Demon.

There are three basic levels of quality when it comes to Wrestling or Lucha Libre Masks. Pro, Semi -Pro and Commercial Grade

Pro Grade Masks are made for wrestlers for in ring use. They are made tough to withstand ring use and abuse. They normally have double stitching to give the seams more support. Some use Serger sewing machines for strong professional seams. The material commonly used is Jumbo Lycra or Milliskin. These are heavier weight materials that last longer than regular weight materials. The stitiching on the face plates are more detailed with few mistakes. Pro masks are custom designed and fitted to the person wearing it.

Semi Pro Grade Masks look very simular to Pro Grade masks but usually single stitched with lighter weight materials, The face plate stitching is a little less consistent than Pro but still good. These masks are made in standard sizes and are intended for fans or light in-ring use. Some can be custom ordered also If you want a very good loking mask for less cost than Pro Grade Masks then this would be a good shoice for you.

Commercial Grade Masks are made from cheap materials with foam lining. The stitching overall varies from poor to fair.Face plates are usally zig-zag stiched or single stitched or sometimes only glued on. Overall these masks are thrown together and made in mass quainties. These masks are commonly sold on the street and at lucha shows in Mexico. Many people are dissapointed withe the quality of Commercial Grade Masks.

When buying a wrestling or Lucha Libre mask be sure to look closely to determine the grade and quality. If buying online ask the seller what grade or how it was made and of what materials.

If your serious or even interested in collecting Wrestling or Lucha Libre Masks I reccommend avoiding Commercial Grade Masks.
