Gem Stone King would like to congratulate you on your purchase of an exquisite color enhanced pink diamond!  We are thrilled that you have taken advantage of this wonderful jewelry item and we would like to properly educate you on the color enhancing process and the great importance of proper care.

The technology used by Gem Stone King to enhance pink diamonds is called “infusion.”  “Infusion” is an ion induction color treatment that results in applying a coating to the diamond that imparts the brilliant pink color.

DO’s for Proper Care:
DO steam clean and ultrasonic clean for short amounts of time
DO gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and soapy water or a mild detergent
DO use mild jewelry cleaner
DO expose to temperatures up to 400°C but no higher

DON’Ts for Proper Care:
DON’T steam clean or ultrasonic clean for extended amounts of time
DON’T scrub intensively with abrasives or abrasive surfaces, such as sand paper or a polishing wheel
DON’T expose to concentrated acids or materials
DON’T expose to temperatures above 400°C

The color of your infused pink diamond will last forever provided you adhere to these simple Do’s and Don’ts for proper care.  For further information please visit our website at www.gemstoneking.net or call us any time at 212-869-6776.

IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING!

Natural pink diamonds must always be advertised as such. Diamonds that have been irradiated to create the enhanced pink color must also be so identified by jewelers as enhanced pink diamonds, or treated pink diamonds. If you are in the market for a pink diamond make sure that the certification you receive with the stone is clearly identified as either natural pink or enhanced. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires disclosure of gemstone treatments (enhancements) at every level of the trade.
