Every day it seems you hear about product recalls of some baby product or toy that it could be hazardous to your baby's health.  We all want to trust that what we buy for our children will not harm them. 

 All natural products are best as they are free of chemicals and elements such as lead.  Newborns and older babies have sensitive skin, so natural fabrics are ideal.  My son had a terrible reaction to bottle liners.  A rash developed on his cheeks as a result of drinking from a bottle with the liners.  It was only after a process of elimination that I discovered that his skin cleared up after I discontinued using them. 

Look for items that are 100% cotton.  Clothing should be chosen that does not pose a choking risk, i.e. those with adornments that can be pulled off and swallowed.  Bath toiletries should be made from organic products, as well.
