Dear Valued Readers and Members,
BKK Gemstones and its partners consider rare gemstones to be any mineral that cannot be purchased in the same size and color on a regular basis. A rare gemstone is that where only a small deposit has ever been found and production is not of commercial quantity.
There is a slight difference between rare in say TSAVORITE GREEN GARNET and rare in TAAFFEITE. Tsavorite green garnet with good color, clarity and luster is rare in over 2ct sizes and extremely rare in say over 5ct sizes whereas taaffeite itself is extremely rare and expensive.Taaffeite is found mostly mixed in amongst spinel rough and takes an experienced gemmologist to make a conclusive evaluation on each and every stone using sophisticated testing equipment.
Taaffeite is said to be among the top 10 rare gemstones in the world. BKK Gemstones is proud to announce we can offer one of the largest taaffeits in existence, 6.17cts of clean pure rare taaffeite!
Any questions please dont hesitate to contact us.
