How not to get ripped off  from overseas seller as I was.

Everythig was looking above board and normal with my purchase at the time as it was with other purchases in the past untill.

1. Lack of communication from seller after payment of item. After checking delivery time (2weeks), I started E-mailing through ebay about non-delivery of item to seller. No response from seller for a week.

2. Opened a dispute through PayPal about non-delivery of item. Got a communication from seller in CAPITAL LETTERS, this was what started as an angry response about using PayPal dispute system (as if it was my fault the seller did not respond to E-mails that were sent about delivery).

3. Item delivered 7 days later post marked 10 days earlyer. (about the time of the dispute was filed).

4. THIS IS WERE MY MISTAKE HAPPENED. I closed the dispute for non-delivery of item only to find that the item sent was the wrong model. I tried to open a dispute through PayPal for incorrect item sent. But to much to my surprise TOU CAN ONLY HAVE 1 DISPUTE FOR A SELLER AND ONCE CLOSED STAYS CLOSED.

5. So after E-mails in and out of  Ebay still no response, this went on for 18 days.

6. So I tried to phone the seller, after 2 days he picked and we talked about the wrong  item sent. He was so sorry about the mix-up and asked me if I was willing to send the item to him for exchange for the correct item. I did it took 3 days to get to him, much quicker than he sent the item to me in the first time.

7. Still no response of if, when or the item is on its way back to me. AND TO THIS DATE I STILL HAVE NOT GOT WHAT I PAID FOR.

OF THIS EXPERIENCE  A SIMPLE GUIDE  FOLLOWS.

1.. Find what you want.

2.. Check delivery costs and times.

3.. Ask the seller about any concerns about item NEW or  USED.

4..Do not bid above new advertised prices outside of E-bay.

5.. Pay thriugh PayPal only.

6..Communicate with Seller if a problem happens on both sides.

7..Open disputes through PayPal stay open untill you are 100% satisfied with item.

8..DONT CLOSE A DISPUTE IF ANOTHER PROBLEM  IS FOUND.

Following this format with each purchaes or bidding could save you from what happened to me.

MY  THANKS GO TO SELLER "SPECIALIST 80" WHOM THIS GUIDE WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE.

Regards Greg.
