Estimate the Amount of Binding you need for your blanket or quilt in a Snap!

I can't tell you how many times I have purchased or made the wrong amount of binding due to an error in estimation of the amount needed.

Therefore I'm sharing a quick handy guide as a reference for buying binding in a pinch. It reflects how much binding is usually needed for common bed size projects.

Bed Size                         Amount of Binding

Crib                                      5-6 Yards

Twin                                     9-10 Yards

Double/Full                           10-11 Yards

Queen                                   11-12 Yards

King                                      12-13 Yards
