A Word About Feedback

    One would think that if you have a legitimate complaint about

(a) being blocked from all bidding by a certain seller despite no negative feedback and
lightning-fast payments
(b) items not received
(c) items received broken
(d) misrepresented items
(e) or any other legitimate reason for negative feedback

    that eBay would not allow obviously vindictive feedback by the seller as retribution.

    Such action by eBay in refusing to protect buyers only encourages the crooked sellers on eBay. Some of them, like e-recycler-online, brag about their vindictiveness, as this excerpt on their website reveals:


    Their feedback is always bitter, cruel and vindictive - even when the complaint is legitimate and they have refused to correct the problem. People like this just want your money - not your business.
    I recently had several successful transactions with this reseller and always paid promptly - only to be suddenly blocked from bidding on ANY of their items without a word of explanation.
    If you want to keep postive feedback, be prepared to kiss the butts of the crooks and sharks. Otherwise, they will try to dfestroy you - especially when they have tens of thousands of feedback responses and your lonely little complaint (legitimate or not) gets lost in the shuffle.
    This eBay policy destroys any honest feedback system, drowning it in the threats of resellers like this.
    To make matters worse, this particular seller claims to be the author of ALL of the eBay guides, on its web page entitled "Reviews & Guides by: erecycleronline" (all 59,651 of them!
    Would you really want to trust someone who runs their business through lies, intimidation and the theft of other people's articles?
