This is one of those tips that you just aren't going to believe until you try it yourself. So you want to create more traffic to your auctions or store and the budget just can't support a raging advertising campaign. What does a budding entrepenuer do? I'll tell you what, find out what kind of weirdo product you can get your hands on and put it on eBay!!

How much did that burnt toast with the face of Jesus get? Or the hot dog bun without a split? Or what about the huge art forms made entirely of Legos? Even if your weirdo item never sells, you are going to stir up some traffic to your store. You may even end up on National/International TV with a group of chanting followers on your front lawn!! Hey, in this world of terrorists, gas prices, and sex offenders, what could a vial of Edison's last breath hurt?

So think about it...what strange or unique item do you CRAVE? For me, my freaky obsession is butter knives. Yep. I have about thirty in my silverware drawer right now. So if some guy in Walla Walla, Washington says he's got a butter knife for sale that once buttered Elvis' bread, chances are real good I'm going to come across it in my eBay searches. So will millions of other people searching for flatware, Martha Stewart, 60's music, and Elvis memorabilia. Just keep one rule in mind when listing: TELL THE TRUTH! You don't want to get nailed for internet fraud or mail fraud, so be as honest about the freakiness as possible!

So that's my *AbSoLuTeLy FreE* Marketing Tip O'the Day. If you thought this guide might help someone out there, or if it just made you smile, would you mind clicking "YES" down below? I sure appreciate the kindness! Thanks from the Sunshine State and Farmstead Mercantile where you are sure to find some POGS soon ( I am determined to be the cause of the new POG revolution!)
