If you're planning to sell your Mac, you may find yourself in need of replacement boot and program discs.  The disc set is handy for both reformatting your hard drive (to wipe away any traces of personal information) and for adding value to the computer you are selling at auction.

Fortunately, Apple makes it easy to get a set. Call Apple Support at 800-275-2273 - be sure to have your serial number - and they can provide a set of replacement discs.  Costs can run from free for those covered by Apple Care to something in the neighborhood of $20 for those out of warranty.
