First off, a few sites I have found helpful:  http://local.yahoo.com/   .  This will help you find Thrift Shops in your area.  I used it and found some very nice places to find great deals to sell.   Also, http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/whatshot.html .  This helped me to find what is popular and selling at certain times.

I love VINTAGE....actually because I realize I am VINTAGE!   Who can recognize it better than one who grew up in the 50's and was a young hippie gal in the 70's...I lived it! 

I am instantly STOPPED dead in my tracks when I see those  'BLAST from the PAST'  Colorful Old Pottery Lamps from the 60-70's, or those darling Fringed Suede/Leather Bags, as I am reminded of when I was a young girl during the 70's growing up.     Therefore, whenever I see that 60's-70's neat items that some of you younger folks pass by...I'll be right behind you buying it.   That Old Hanging Lamp, that Funky Shaped Table, or even that Peace Sign Necklace...I gotta have it and most of the time it is hard for me to sell it, but hey, that's the point...right?   

It's very simple for me...I remember those days.  But for you younger folks, here's my tip...pick up what you don't really remember or even like and chances are you'll have just the perfect item for resale, as it will no doubt be vintage or retro. 

Now,  The "N MORE" part of my ID comes from my Dad.  My sis and I grew up on an 80 acre farm in Ohio and Dad loved to save EVERYTHING!   Yup, Dad was somewhat of a pack rat (I'm being nice).   Guess who else followed in his footsteps?   Yes. I have been bitten!  So,  I do enjoy a good old sunny day FARM AUCTION where you'll find anything from... 

UNUSUAL PRIMTIVES~ANTIQUES~COLLECTIBLES~ART~POTTERY~GLASS~OLD TOYS~DOLLS~KITCHEN ITEMS~RETRO to MID-CENTURY MODERN FURNITURE & WARES~JEWELRY~LOTS of UNIQUE NEW and used LADIES~KIDS HAND MADE, EVEN some DESIGNER CLOTHES, and PURSES~ HAND BAGS and SHOES.   And  OLD TOOLS...plenty of TOOLS and FARM IMPLEMENTS...all FUN TO FIND and FUN TO SELL! 

The most fun I've had though is to GET LOST!   Yes, right in the middle of no-mans land...off the beaten track on an old COUNTRY ROAD.    Stop at an old farm where you see an  ole' farmer and/or gal out in their yard or field.   Simply start by asking directions.  FARMERS LOVE TO TALK...tractors, gardening, weather...you name it.   AND the misses usually will come out if she isn't outside already...very friendly those country farm folk.  You'll get your fair share of oldie goldie reminiscence talk of times gone by.   IF your lucky (and enjoy a friendly gift of gab),  you'll no doubt walk away with neat VINTAGE WEARS by the box full!
