TUNICS ARE SO HOT, and wearing them with jeans or pants can translate into a really chic look. The only problem with this look, is that it's hard to pull off. Here's a few quick tips on getting the most from this look: HERE'S HOW:
1. CHOOSE THE RIGHT TUNIC: Make sure you get a tunic that hits right about mid thigh. Anything longer will make you look lost and like you're swimming in the top. Make sure it's fitted and if you're bottom heavy, a stretchy material will really help create a nice line.
2. THE BOTTOMS: Chose a pant that makes your legs look long. The length of the tunic creates the illusion of a longer torso, and can make legs look short. Balance it out with elongating pants.
3. THE SHOE: Try and stick to a heel when wearing this look to add length to your legs. If you're average or above average height, you may be able to pull off heels, so be sure to try both to see what works best for you.
4. LAYER: A cool look is to layer a plain cotton tunic with different colored camis underneath. Look for sheer fabrics to give your look more depth. Tips:
STYLE NOTE: If you're big busted, try and shy away from babydoll shirts or empire waists, as they tend to create a tent look. *** Add a touch of glam to this look by adding a low slung belt to a plain colored tunic. This look can also be achieved with a dress over jeans or pants. Choose a dress that is very casual and hits you mid thigh - where a mini skirt would usually lay.
