Attention eBay Beginners!! How To Use eBay Store To Increase Your Sales. 

eBay store gives you a professional business presence. It supplements your auction and gives you another way to reach the public. To open a store, you need feedback at least 20 and above, verified by eBay, good standing account on Paypal. Monthly fee for basic store is $15.99, and 30 days free trial. 

One of the advantages of having a store is a typical listing only cost a few cents. Take some time to think of a name for your store. Find name which is short and easy to remember. Preferably related to the product that you are currently selling on eBay.  

Make sure you have a wide selection of products to sell. Your merchandise should be broad and deep. Come up with as many custom categories as you can.  

You can only list your product in the store as fixed price, no auction format available. If you want some flexibility on your store listings, you can insert “Best Offer” option. It will give a chance to your potential buyers to negotiate the price with you. You don’t have to accept the price if it is too low. Of course you can always counter offer.  

Take advantage of “Promotion Box” in the eBay store feature. You can use it to present newly listed items, closeouts or special deals. It will make you look more professional as a seller. 

You can encourage your buyers to sign up for your newsletters. You can do email marketing by constantly sending some promotion or discount to your subscribers.  

Do your best to market your store by purchasing keywords and advertise your store on business card. Include your business cards or promotional flyers into the merchandise when you ship it. 

You can purchase keywords through eBay keywords program or Google Adwords program.  

Create a link to your store for every auction listings. This is another way to drive traffic to your store. Run lots of low price auction in the normal listings; put all your high price products in your store. 

When you design your store, choose colours that match your store’s homepage, listing templates and your own website. 

In summary, eBay store is very cost effective and you can list your products for long period of time.
