Selling on Ebay can be fun and profitable, if you know what you are doing and what to expect. Before you begin, you first need to decide which payment options you are going to accept. Checks, & money orders are fine to start out with, but most people like paying with Paypal. Paypal can be set up through a Credit card or bank account. If you set it up to your bank account and do not take credit cards- this is called a personal account -there is not charge. If you set your Paypal account up as a business-where you can accept credit cards, there are fees. Once you have an item in mind to sell, the next step is take a good, clear photo of the item. Before you list, you should have a reasonable idea of how much $ you want out of the item; or what it is worth, and how much it will cost to ship. A Good title is key to getting your item seen. Misspellings or unneccesary words can cost you a sell or lower your bottom line. Accurate, well represented items bring you cash. Include any measurements, any accessories included or not included. People like to know exactly wht it is they are bidding on. Be honest in your description. People can ask you questions, so be ready with polite, knowledgable answers. When you sell an item, package the item well, and ship it promptly. Before long, you will receive good feedback and be on your way to selling like a pro.
