HOW TO REPLACE A BRASS TURN LOCK ASSEMBLY ON A COACH LEATHER BRIEFCASE  OR PURSE

F A C E  P L A T E

Remove old turn lock face plate and back with a small flat head screwdriver or a dull knife. You'll see four prongs that secure the plate, gently slide the screwdriver tip underneath each prong and push prongs straight up. Once all prongs are up, slide out and back plate will fall out.

Replace with new face plate and back. Gently press down on the four prongs until flush with the back plate.

* HOT TIP *
Wrap a soft paper towel around the tip of the screwdriver or dull knife and secure with tape to cushion.

T U R N  L O C K

Remove old turn lock and back with a small flat head screwdriver or a dull knife. You'll see two prongs that secure the lock, gently slide the flat screwdriver underneath each prong and move prongs straight up. Once all prongs are up, slide out and back plate will fall out.

Replace with new turn lock and back. Gently press down on the two prongs until flush with the back plate.
