Many people sell used or refurbished bluetooth headsets here on eBay ... some unfortunately do not come with instructions on how to pair them to your cellphone or computer. Here are some general instructions for pairing most of the popular headsets just in case you didn't get the instructions for your cellphone or lost them some how.

Here are the pair instructions and pairing code for some of the more stylish line of headsets from Samsung - called the WEP series:

To pair the headset in manually pairing mode:

1. With the headset off, press the center POWER button for 7 seconds until see the headset blue light turn solid blue (no loneger flashing).

2. The indicator light will turn solid blue, which indicates that the headset is in “Pairing mode”.

3. In the phone, you now have to add the headset to the phone's list of Bluetooth devices.

4. You have to enter a Bluetooth passkey in the phone. The default passkey is 0000.

Here are the pair instructions and pairing code for some of the more stylish line of headsets from Sony Ericsson - called the HBH series:

To pair the headset in manually pairing mode:

1. Press both VOLUME BUTTONS, (+) and (-), at the same time for 5 seconds until your hear a beep.

2. The indicator light will now flash red and green, which indicates that the headset is in “Pairing mode”.

3. In the phone, you now have to add the headset to the phone's list of Bluetooth devices. For detailed instructions, click on Product Information/Getting Started in the left hand navigation menu, or use the phone's user guide.

4. You have to enter a Bluetooth passkey in the phone. The default passkey is 0000.

* In case any of you have an Audecom Bluetooth Speaker and need the bluetooth pairing code - it is 1234.

These directions apply to a lot of different bluetooth headsets. If "0000" four zeros) or (1234) does not work, try "0001" (three zeros and a one).

Hope this helps!
