Hello, I thought this guide may be useful for someone who wants the best way to get Christmas Ornaments safely to your customers:)....I have sold as well as recieved ornaments as Old Shiny brites are my Favorites!...but the past two packing jobs that I recieved  left me with broken ornaments...and so far I havent had  one break out of hundreds of the many I've sold..so thought you may like to know what works and what is Risky...

THIS DOESNT WORK >>>>..and the box did have more items and pretty full with peanuts but still the ornaments will try to settle to the bottom which some did as in this photo and crushed also dangerous to dig for them:)...So peanuts are good but not for packing ornaments...they may make it they may not..the other method is bubble wrap..this is good but 1. not cost effective and if you just wrap a dozen in the box with bubble wrap they may break inside the box...

WHAT DOES WORK>>>>  If these are loose ornaments with No boxes...Yes a piece of Newspaper, I go to my local newspaper and ask for the 'end caps' its free or maybe cost you a small fraction of what bubble wrap costs and will guarentee a safe arrival if wrapped well, I wrap each ornament in a puffy ball taking the ends and folding them over to create more cushion...then tape...

so it looks like this>>>>..... and then pile in the wrapped ornies..stacking them in the middle away from about 2" of the edges and then I add more crumpled paper to the outer parts or peanuts then I cover the top with the last place to put the crumpled paper or peanuts and slightly and jently pack in it a bit, ...I make it where it doesnt move almost over stuff so that if it was dropped from a truck, it would make it:)....It may cost alittle more to ship, but worth it if they are collectible ornaments that cant be replaced so easily...whether its one or 50..I do this and so far no problems:)..if for any reason one did break, it would not effect the rest, or be able to cut you like the first picture:)...

As for set of glass ornaments WITH Boxes that have slots, you can take napkins depending on the size and cut them down if you need to...so that they wrap twice around the ornament and then placed in the slots so they dont move freely, as shown here>>> ........then you place the cover on the box, if the ornaments are too bumped up so the box lid doesnt fit over it well, then you over wrapped them and need to make the wrapped ornaments flush with the box....then DO NOT PLACE TAPE ON THE SIDES OF THE BOXES:)...as some customers will buy the ornaments for the older graphics or the box and tape will ruin it...so place a sheet of newspaper wrapping paper or whatever else you could find and wrap like you were wrapping a gift, the tape it up:)...then get you box to pack in about atleast 2 inches from sides and bottom bigger than the box of ornaments and place peanuts in the bottom or well crumpled paper add your box of ornaments in the center then add more peanuts make sure they are on the sides well, then on the top the same as prior:) It seems like work but once use to it, its easy and you dont have to worry everytime you send a box of glass ornaments! If you found this useful..please ...rate it!! Thanks for viewing my guide!
