Have you ever wanted to sharpen up those dies that get used over and over or have punches that after time tear the paper rather than punch it!!!!! Well a friend a long time ago shared some info with me and I would like to share it with all you scrappers. I use my dies a lot more than normal  and all of my dies still cut like the first day I purchased them.

All you need is 2 house hold Items that everyone has in the home already. Foil and wax Paper.

For a sizzix die just punch the foil a couple of times just like you would with the paper the foil sharpens it and then punch out the wax paper the same way and that oils it. Your sizzix dies will stay sharp for years to come. This works better if the foil is a good qulity thicker foil. If you can not find a thick foil just double up a thinner one

For Punches you can do the same thing but if you do not use them that much just punch out some wax paper time to time to keep them oiled up.
