Figuring out what saddlebags will fit is Very Easy

For Best Fitting Possible please have a quick look at the following. You will need a ruler or measuring tape. Please go to your bike and take the following measurements.

 1.  Take a side to side measurement: Measure side to side, from the back of the saddle, (riders position) to the arm of the directional signal, you'll need to compare this measurement with our length measurements of the desired saddlebag. This measurement should be greater than the bags length.  (See image below for reference)

2.  Take a top to bottom measurement. Measure from the bottom of the seat pad to the top of the exhaust pipe as a reference. This measurement must be at least 1" inch greater than the height of the desired saddlebags. (See image below for reference). Subtract at least about 2 inches from above the pipes for the max height. This will help ensure that you do not burn your bags because they are sitting to close or on the pipes.

 3. Use the measurements taken to provide a guideline in determining what saddlebags will fit your motorcycle.

4. If you have a bike with exposed shocks, like on sportys, dynas etc. it is better if you go with a slant bag.

5. Brackets on throw overs are personal preference.


6. Throw over saddlebags have a strap that goes under the seat to attach them to your bike. They are designed to fit most bikes. Throw over Saddle Bags are easy to install, all you have to do is take off your seat throw the saddle bags over and adjust the laces to the length you want them and then put your seat back on and you are ready to go.
