How To Determine Tank Capacity In Gallons

If you are planning on buying some of our Powerful Citrus soap, or other chemicals to clean, sanitize or strip an instrument; it is a good idea to know how much chemical you need to buy. The best way to do this is to know how many gallons your tank will hold. Then, you can determine the exact amount of cleanser, etc. to use.

Rectangular Tanks

Length x Width x Depth = Total Cubic Inches

Total Cubic Inches divided by 231 = Gallon Capacity

Round Tanks

Diameter x 3.14 x depth = Total Cubic Inches

Total Cubic Inches divided by 231 = Gallon Capacity
