I know I am an eBay affiliate but I have not done a lot with it. But there seems to be a lot of potential for a good income from this. Over the last month I have read a couple of reports on the subject and I thought I'd share with you the critical points.
Firstly, you need to sign up to become an eBay affiliate on Commission Junction to get PID Number. Copy the following link: http://affiliates.ebay.com/
Have you seen those ebooks on eBay that say make money from eBay without an auction, not selling your own products and get money from your competitors type auctions? Well you can almost guarantee that these will be books about the eBay affiliate program.
As an eBay affiliate you will get paid for every person who signs up using your link, if you refer someone who places the winning bid on an auction and also buyers of Buy-It-Now items.
Right, lets say you already have signed up at Commission Junction (as a publisher) and you have received your CJ identification, which is a PID number.
Now you need to use eBay's Flexible Destination Tool (found here: http://affiliates.ebay.com/tools/linking/) where you can enter the URL of the page you want your link to be directed to. This can be any page on eBay, a store, a listing, or a list of a particular seller's items.
Now you can write a report and make it go viral and get lots of visitors to go the listings within the report or create a website on a particular niche by using some of the other eBay tools found here: http://affiliates.ebay.com/tools/ (RSS feeds, Editor Kits and such like)
