One of the most asked questions I encounter about cloth diapers is "How many cloth diapers do I need to cloth diaper my baby full time?". A cloth diaper layette does not have to be complicated. Read on to find out the easiest way to cloth diaper ever!
In general, newborns will need more diapers then an older baby. This is because their bladders are smaller and they pee more often. It is important to change newborns as soon as they wet because their skin is so tender and pront to irriation. Most newborns will need about 12 diaper changes per day, most older babies will need about 8-12 changes per day. I like to allow for extra changes for times when I miss a laundry day or when other emergencies arise. For twins, or 2 in diapers at the same time, simply double the amounts.

The One Size AIO is truly a blessing in terms of ease of use, and pure economics. Since there is only one size to buy from birth to potty learning, the one size system offers huge savings over sized systems. AIO's are the most convenient of the cloth diapering systems because there is no need for separate covers and diapers. They are purchased all in one unit!
