This is a (HOYA) what we call in common name (rate tail plant) in bloom once or twice per year. the flowers looks like a plastic one. It comes in a variety of colors.

As you can see i have a great variety of plants in my house.

Each plants, as its' favorite corner of your house, some plant are antisocial, some others likes company of animals and humans.

A soft plant will need more water then a hard core plant. A lite green color plant will need more sun then the dark color plants.

Cattus are exceptions of the rules, you can actually drawn a cactus, so if you like them, not to much water please.

All house plants need to be dormant, at one point during a 12 month period, you need to respect that fact, other wise your plant will suffer from stress. You can see it when the leafs start to turn, or change color, no more water for that period, no vitamin, let it sleep, the plant will shed, you may have to cut it down, after a period of 2 to 3 months the plant  start growing new leafs, at that point give your plant a good soak in the bathtub, let it drain and give the plant a good dose of 20-20-20, then continue with the usual 5-10-20 vitamins. 

House plant feeds on carbon monoxide and gives out oxygen, it keep the air you breathe clean of many toxin in your house, but it as to be healthy, and care for, you have to be mother nature.

Plant are decorative, alive, brings beauty to your home,  it needs a bit of time from you, a lot of respect, and love. It gives so much back.
