Before you start to buy collectibles on any web based site you need to do your research..always include the shipping fees into the total amount paid, because you might see the low sale price and think , "yeah"! and when you bid you find out that the seller is charging $20.00 to ship 3 Hot Wheel cars that should Priroity for less than $6 anywhere in the US.

Always ask the sellers before you place any bids at all, if the collection/lot contains any 1st editions, or special production models.

Hot Wheels dates all of their die-cast cars on the bottom with the year made, make amd model and the Hot Wheel logo...don't be fooled into buying something that you don't want or need. For the most part sellers are pretty honest, but believe it or not there are a few out there who describe one thing and you receive another.  Feedback is a very good indicator, so always check out a sellers ratings from their other buyers to see how they handle their business affairs.

The best time to  buy Hot Wheels on ebay is form right around Feburary to the 1st November..From the fisrt week of November till after Christmas holdays, these collectibles are a very hot and in demand item.. New Hot Wheels generally sell for $1.00 each new in the stores and usually run low in stock because they are a very popular stocking stuffer for the holidays .

So  to recap, educate yourself on what you would like to buy, make sure you are getting what you bid and pay for, and remember that if you are looking to get volume disounts..search for "lots" of cars or "collections"
