Many people think that Ebay is the place to shop for rare or expensive items. Everyone knows that you can save some money on big ticket items. But something that many do not know... is that you can save huge on items that you buy everyday.
I've read guides on coupon buying and giftcard buying in order to save money. But right here on Ebay, you can buy those items with even bigger savings than using coupons or giftcards.
Here are a few simple tips to rack up those savings:
1. Think about the products that you use and buy regularly such as shampoo, deordorant, toothpaste, formula, diapers, hair care, socks and underwear. Search it on Ebay. Often you can buy name-brand here for the same amount as generic at W*lm*rt.
2. Look for sellers with a wide variety of items and a good combined shipping discount. I rarely buy just 1 item from a seller. I want the most for my money so I seek the sellers that will combine shipping for me and those savings add up.
3. Buy in bulk! Why pay $4 shipping for 1 item when you can pay $9 for 10 items.
4. Simply buying on Ebay saves you money as you do not have to drive to a store. But make sure you check the sellers feedback.
5. Be sure to shop during off times such as early in the morning or Holidays. Great bargains can be found at these times.
6. Don't always wait to bid. Waiting to bid is a great tactic for high priced items, but this backfires on low priced items. For low priced items, the first bid usually gets it. Also many time when items go unsold during the auction, they get relisted for a higher price in the store. Don't let that happen. I've missed many great deals because I was waiting to bid at the last moment.
Hopefully these tips come in handy for many of you moms out there. I wish that I had know years ago that I could buy many simple things here. I could have saved tons of money by now.
