Hoover SteamVac Dual V V2 Solution Tank New Design - New Part 42272104

I know you've heard it before. There have been various upgrades to the Hoover Dual V solution tanks. This tank is NOT an upgrade, it's a completely new design using totally different materials.

The new tank is a direct replacement for the current solution tanks and tank kits. This tank replaces part numbers 90001295, 12002549 and 42272137. These three tanks are now obsolete, buy only part 42272104. For the new tank design, please see eBay item 140147680091. To go directly to the listing, enter the item number in any eBay search box.

1. The tank utilizes a new molding technique and much heavier material.
2. The tank is now one piece, the detergent side is no longer just glued to the water tank.
3. The new caps are twist on.
4. The new valve area is reinforced and the valve seating area redesigned.

These are the parts included with the new tank.

• 42272104 Solution Tank
• 42272174 Tank Caps (2) - Cannot be used on the old style tank.
• 43513026 Valves (2)        - Can be used on the old style tank.

As before, the handle is not included with the tank. You will need to retain and reuse your old handle or purchase a replacement which is part number 39457044. This handle is available in my eBay store.

It looks like the problem of leaking solution tanks on the Dual V has at long last been solved.
