Hoopz - Flavor of Love's Hoopz (aka Darling Nikki)
Hip Hop star Flavor Flav first burst onto the reality television scene with VH1's The Surreal Life 3. It was on that program that Flav met and fell in love with celebrity supermodel Bridgette Nelson. Their courtship was the subject of the successful spin-off show, Strange Love. When that relationship went sour, Flavor Flav set out to find his soul mate on VH1's The Flavor of Love .
Flav invited 20 women to his mansion, where they would live with him and compete for his affections. Competitions ranged from sexy speed dating in hot tubs to going to church with Flav's mother! After each competition, some girls were eliminated until there was one clear winner-- Hoopz (a.k.a. Darling Nikki), a rising supermodel from Detroit.
Flav gave Nikki the nickname "Hoopz" because of her love for the game of basketball. She got her start as a popular internet model and her pictures became some of the most downloaded of all time. Nikki first rose to fame after a feature in King magazine. She is currently featured as Miss April on Big Tigger's 2006 wall calendar. Nikki was recently featured in Will Smith's music video for "Party Starter" and will be seen in the upcoming movie "Puff, Puff, Pass" with Mekhi Phifer and Darrell Hammond.
Flavor of Love quickly became VH1's highest rated series of all time. Hoopz proved popular with audiences for her beauty and good-natured spirit. Sadly, once again love didn't last for Flav. Nikki/Hoopz, however, is still is pursuing her model and acting careers, and is available for photo shoots or private sessions.
