On November 1, 2006, Buffets Inc. was thrilled to join forces with Ryan's Restaurant Group, Inc.

This adds over 264 Ryan's Grill Buffet and Bakery® and Fire Mountain Grills® in 23 states to the Buffets family.

Ryan's Restaurant Group opened its first restaurant in 1978, and has continually been committed to serving high-quality food at affordable prices in a friendly, family-style atmosphere.


Now the Buffet Chain contains the following stores:

Hometown Buffet
Old Country Buffet
Country Buffet
Ryan's Grill Buffet
Fire Mountain


As of (October-November 2007) The buffet chain has decided not to continue using the $4.99 Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Passes.

If you have any of these coupons, you may want to call your local buffet to see if they will honor it. My store still honors them!

They started using new types of coupons.

The new coupons state: Buy 1 adult dinner at regular price and enjoy a second adult dinner for $6.99 or up to (2) Kids eat Free.

These new coupons can be found in the mail or in the newspaper. You will see a picture of the new coupons below.

In October 2007, The buffet chain has put a link on their website to join their e-club.

As a member, you will receive special offers and more via email - including a Birthday Coupon, Anniversary Coupon, previews of upcoming special offers and more!


There is also a Senior Program:

As of November 2008, You can now get Buffet To Go:

As of November 2008, You can now get Soup'n Salad Unlimited:
