Within a few weeks, Hollywood Undead was getting over 4,000 downloads a day, signifying that people had taken notice.

Showmanship plays a part in the band's appeal. Although their faces aren't visible behind their masks, they play up the image of partying street kids that enjoy a good time. Their rebellious lyrics and funky beats seem to have struck a chord with certain fans. Demand for an official release from the band has grown and a number of items such as pendants with the band's picture are now available for purchase.
