With the Holidays fast approaching we wanted to share this very tasty recipe for chip or vegetable dip with you.

Shopping list
Beer (only need 1-2 cans depending on how much dip you want and what ever brand you desire)
Please note you can use NON-Alcohol Beer also
Cream Cheese - 2 packs (might want to have an extra incase you need to thicken)
Onions (red, white or yellow or a mix)  1 large or 2 small
Paprika
Chives

Utensils needed
Large mixing bowl
Mixer or strong fork

Start off with 2 packs of Cream Cheese and put into bowl.   Add in 1/4 or so of beer.

Mix with electric or hand egg beater make a nice creamy dip, in a pinch a heavy fork will also work but will take longer to get the creamy even mix.

Keep adding beer as you mix till it is a smooth - slightly thinner then peanut butter - easy to spread, but not to fall off a chip.

If you add too much beer add in more cream cheese.  Your first batch may be a little liquidy but that is ok - Most LOVE this dip and will not complain.

When you have a nice creamy mixture add in 2 table spoons of Paprika, 1/4 cup of chives or less, 1/4 - 1/2 cup of onions and mix by hand to blend these in.

At this point if you use your mixer you may blend in the chives and onions too fine.  If you don't like this slightly chunky then you may wish to do blend them in with electric or dice them up finer next batch.

For Veggies you may want this slightly thicker
For chips you may want slightly thinner

Sprinkle a bit of Paprika and chives on top for Decoration before serving.
Keep this chilled and covered for up to 2 days - stir well before using.

If your dip lasts longer then this your family either does not like this recipe or you ran out of things to dip in it!

This has an extremely low alcohol content per serving and most can eat this dip with out any issues.

Please make sure to announce it is "Beer Batter Dip" to any who may need to stay away from ANY alcohol.  Or use Non-alcohol Beer.   Flavor may not be the same, but will be close.
