Q: Which films are suitable for HOLGA beginner?
A: SHANGHAI GP3 or LUCKY SHD B&W Films are great for beginner. They are one of the cheapest films to let you have more experience taking by Holga camera.
Q: Can I use SLIDE film in Holga camera?
A: Sure. But slide films is less forgiving than print film. So, you need take more carefully in estimate of exposure. (NOT suggest for beginner)
Q: Can I choose a focusing range other than what is shown?
A: YES. Placing the focus point somewhere between the distance icons. But these options available cover most of the bases. (Minimum focus range ~ 1meter)
Q: Why my photos have dark corners. What's wrong?
A: These are vignetting and natural effects of Holga's camera. If you need to minimize these effects, we suggest you use of 6x45mm size mask.
Q: Why my photos become fuzzy, blurry. What's wrong?
A: Your film maybe loose and not flush with the film plane. Check the cardboard wedge is in place and working properly.
Q: My Holga camera used for a long time, now some photos are over exposed. What's wrong?
A: Holga's shutter spring maybe aging. It's time to buy a new one. But you can keep it as parts for other Holga camera.
