QUESTION: I want to upgrade my vehicle's lighting system.  What should I do?

Don't be fooled. Be aware that there are two kinds fo "HID bulbs" on the market:  TRUE HID  and  "HID look" bulbs (simulated HID.)  A full Xenon lighting system COSTS APPROXIMATELY $200.00 and requires the presence of a BALLAST.

Simply substituting a xenon bulb for original halogen bulb will not work!

"To see" or "To BE seen"? --which?

HOWEVER, IF YOU WANT TO DRESS UP YOUR CAR WITHOUT SENDING BIG BUCKS, please inform yourself with the simple and easy truth about LOOK A-LIKE BULBS

How is Xenon different from "Xenon look-a-like bulbs"? Current versions of Xenon look-alike halogen bulbs closely parallel the color temperature (K,or Kelvin) of Xenon systems. However, a vehicle equipped with an Xenon system can usually be differentiated from an Xenon look-a-like halogen system by the significant increase in ROADWAY ILLUMINATION for the driver.

High Intensity Discharge (HID) is defined as a light source in which light is produced by a stabilized arc that burns at a much higher color temperature which creates a whiter light output than a standard halogen bulb. This arc is generated with an igniting system and ballast.

The term "HID look" is sometimes used to denote a BLUE COATING applied to a bulb or when xenon is ADDED TO a conventional halogen bulb in order to give the dazzeling, blue appearance of the impressive late model luxury car with a TRUE HID system.  These bulbs cost a FRACTION of what you'd pay for a true HID conversion kit.

Now that you know what your choices are, the choice is your's.  Get ready for a night on the town. Simulated xenon bulbs add mystery and sizzle to your favorite vehicle without a lot of trouble and expense.

However, if you want to REALLY improve your night-time driving with SUPERIOR roadway illumination,  a Xenon Conversion Package is the way to go.  One eBay seller is (click on this link)   i7001 Workshop   Either way, you will dazzle your friends with the trendy new look of Xenon!  Happy driving!
