Welcome to the the world of Spinner Baits. Most Fishermen are at the mercy of the tackle shops or fishing shows on TV. I`am here to clear up some of the myths about Spinner Baits. For those just starting out always try to match the forage species, Shad, Perch, Shiners or Trout. The weight of the head controls the speed and depth you will be fishing. Try to keep the Spinner Bait just barely visable if you have off colored water and sonny skies, that way the flash of the blades will be most visable. Bigger blades give greater lift and smaller blades allow the bait to run deeper. Always use solid colored blades when sun is not present. Now lets talk about the newest wave of spinner bait, Hidden Head. These are the best all around Spinner Bait. Remember the diameter of the wire controls the vibration. The standard wire sizes are .030, .032, .035, .040 being the larger diameter. The Frame size is also important, this controls the distance from the head and the length of the top arm. Longer wires give greater vibration, shorter wires make for a more compact bait. And this is where the real Quality Spinner Baits shine. We love all the new Hidden Head Spinner Baits. No matter what weight you choose, they will be of smaller profile. Smaller profile baits appeal to all species of fish, yet you can go really heavy heads to get your bait deeper. All sizes will be Custom Painted and have the highest quality skirts with Gamakatsu Hooks. Our Hidden Head Spinner Bait is in production now, it will be 3/4 oz and no bigger than a 3/8 oz.
