The Les Printemps de Thera by Julie Abadie was produced by Hermes with several other new scarf designs to celebrate their Year of the Mediterranean in 2003.

This design is a straight collage of several of the 3500 year old wall paintings unearthed at Akrotiri in Cyprus... have a look at the Thera Foundation website for more information on this marvellous place.  Did you skip that bit above.... these paintings are 3500 YEAR OLD!

This design is also a collage of several images from wall paintings of the same period from The King Minos Palace at Knossos on Crete.
