Hermes produced "Hola Flamenca!" by Dimitri Rybalchenko in 2005. It very quickly became the most faked scarf of 2006. This design is one of the few that if you really want a genuine scarf, then you should go to a Hermes store. You should also know that very realistic, but fake store receipts have been available on eBay. The detail in these scaves is photo perfect and many are hard to tell from the colours alone. ALL COLOUR COMBINATIONS HAVE BEEN FAKED.
There are two rules:
1) The dancer must have black hair, except in the turquoise-blue scarf.
2) The dancer must have a shadow, except in the red-black scarf. Unfortunately most fakes follow these rules!
These two above, green-yellow and pink-purple are FAKES...only really detectable from who was selling. This red-orange is GENUINE.
This grey-orange above is GENUINE, as is this turquoise-blue...ONLY GENUINE SCARF with blue hair. Red hair and make-up is ALWAYS FAKE!
The GENUINE red-black combination does not have a shadow.....but this one was a fake...the Seller had sold 20 brand new in box "Hola Flamencas!" at less than half the store price in the previous month.
ALL GENUINE COLOURS HAVE BEEN FAKED and are photo-accurate. All the fakes have the Hermes copyright symbol, Hermes Paris and artists signature. Do look at the Seller before you do anything else, or you will end up paying designer prices for a cheap mass produced fake.
