Hermes produced "Feux d'Artifice" by Michael Duchene in 1987. Fakes were soon produced and are now appearring in the secondary market as vintage items from estate sales and such. These are relatively crude fakes and easy to spot, as long as you know what a genuine one should look like.
The GENUINE scarf has very ornate writing around the centre rider and exotic detail........................................................

FAKE..........................................................FAKE......................................................................FAKE!!...................................
FAKE...........................................................FAKE!.............................................
Hermes nearly always use very fancy lettering integrated into the design. You can be pretty sure that ANY SCARF with big black bold lettering is FAKE. A perfectly innocent yet ignorant Seller can show you twelve high resolution photos of all these details. These are useless to you, if you don't know what the genuine scarf should look like.
