Herbs are nature's alternative remedy for those interested in a more holistic approach to health. Many common complaints can be

safely alleviated by adding fresh herbs to the diet, sipping herbal teas, or taking a daily spoon of tonic to strengthen and rejuvenate

the body.

Fresh herbs are best, and can be grown, obtained from the farmer's market, or the fresh & organic section of your grocer. However,

this is not always possible, so dried herbs can be substituted.  Some Ebay sources include: Wildcrafted Herbs and Teas ,

Sedona Magick, Herbal Rain, Buckmeister Botanicals, Anthonys Herbs and Spices, many more...

To make a tea or infusion, use either one teaspoon of dried herb or three teaspoons of fresh herb to one cup water. ( Bring your

water to a boil, then pour over herbs and let steep 5 - 8 minutes. ) Add honey or natural sweeteners to suit your taste.

If you are using root or bark,  (instead of leaves, flower petals, or seeds ) place herb in non-metal saucepan with water and

bring to a boil, then simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Strain and add sweetener, if desired.

Examples are :  ginger                                                       ginseng
