Hemp Jewelry: What size do I wear?
The easiest way to figure out what size hemp jewelry you wear is to measure the part of your body that you will be wearing it on.
A tape measure works the best, but if you don't have one you can use a piece of string to measure. Take the string & wrap it around your neck, wrist or ankle. Then mark or cut the string to the length you like. Then you can easily measure the string on a ruler or yard stick.
I also suggest that you add 1/4-1/2" inches to this number to make your hemp jewelry more comfortable. This works great for a choker style necklace, bracelet or anklet. If you are measuring for a necklace that you want it to hang down your neck, always add 1" or more, depending on how long you want it to hang down.
Also most people that sell hemp jewelry will state it fits neck sizes A to B. Example, if a seller states it will fit necks from 16-19" this usually means the macrame knot pattern is 16" long & an additional 3" is added of un-knotted hemp cord for size. So if you want the knotted pattern to go all the way around your neck, make sure the lowest number is really close to your neck size.
