Hello, I have been with Ebay since 10-03, have learned many great things and am always still learning. I would like to share suggestions that may be helpful for a great overall transaction with both Buyer and Seller. Most sellers will write a descriptive narrative about the doll they are selling. Please as a buyer, take the time to read it in it's entirety before bidding. I know we all live in a fast-paced world and hard to slow down at times, but when you are thinking of spending hard earned savings for a certain doll, you need to read and be an informed buyer. Most sellers will also state to ask questions or request more pictures. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make sound choices before hitting that bid button. As a seller and also a buyer, I see both sides. You need to read all the details right down to shipping amount if availlable, if not ask, and if there may be limited shipping areas. Paypal is of course the most convenient for people as they can pay via computer, understanding that it may not always be easy to physically get to a financial institution. Again, if the seller does not offer Paypal, you need to read that ahead of time, it will save much frustration in the end for both buyer and seller. A seller can only represent to you the buyer by written description and pictures, that is the cyber-marketplace, not able to pick up, touch, check out, you have to rely on what is presented for you. Also please remember not everyone that may be selling a doll has the knowlege, and will often state that, again to ask questions. You the buyer may have peticulars about certain dolls you collect, as some just have vintage flaws common to the same type due to age. Remember, most if not all antique and vintage dolls are not NIB, nor Mint, they are old, well loved, and for the most part made for little girls to play with. I write this new guide today as I remember back when some of my composition dolls may have been created, Pearl Harbor Day, I wonder where they might have been during that time-frame. They truly hold a Special Place in my Heart. They are Vintage Time-Pieces into the Past. Thank-you for reading my guide.
