I love e-bay because I can find almost anything our family wants or needs. We have been trying to live a healthy lifestyle lately, especially with the new school year. This means more educational videos, positive books, and health and beauty aids.

Ebay and half.com offer more videos and dvd's than most stores. These days, vhs tapes are hard to find in stores, who are moving to all dvd's. Past PBS shows, such as Arthur, Barney, and Wishbone are available. Old Nick favorites are there, too. If you can think of it--you can probably find it on e-bay or half.. You can find interesting yet educational books too. Search the reviews--they're great and that's what they're there for!   It's time to feed the kids' brains after summer!

Speaking of feeding the brain, we buy and sell Goji juice. Its benefits are remarkable. I wake up with enthusiasm every day because I drank an ounce the day before. Goji makes my memory sharp and clear. I could write a guide on Goji alone--if you're interested--research it. Goji juice is great for anti-aging as well.

Without getting into details--I recommend colonix--available on e-bay. The detox helps healthy digestion as well as eliminating extra weight around the tummy area.

E-bay offers a variety of exercise videos. My husband and I do pilates together. The twenty minute workout is quick and fun. We do the Gaiam pilates work-out with Ana Caban. When we are finished, we feel energized. Pilates helps your flexibility. I feel like I can stand taller and reach farther from doing it. I swim and run on the treadmill but nothing flattens my tummy like pilates. You need a yoga mat--which you can find on e-bay too.

The twister--not the game--is great for hips that are hard to lose. Wee found ours on -bay, of course. they have vintage ones and new designs available. It's fun. I think of my father-in-law who can do the dance the twist really well.

In summer we had sweets after an early dinner because our kids are up and want snack.

We bought an ab-lounger, which works great. Like pilates, it works your abdominal area and is is fast yet not too difficult. So many different types of exercise equipment are available on e-bay--you can pick your favorite kinds and have them shipped to you. Also you get to figure out what target areas your body needs without a perfect looking salesperson "helping" you.

You can buy pillows for a great night's sleep and beautiful sheets as well as designer comforters, too. The prices are incredible, which makes you feel happy and proud.

September is a great month to take care of home repairs. Everything from washing windows to sealing basement windows is recommended this month while the days are still mild. The Farmer's Almanac says this winter is supposed too be an average of 8 degrees colder.

Shipping, when being charged a fair cost, saves gas money because you don't have to drive all over town looking for certain items.
